It might seem a little odd that a British pub would throw a day-long celebration for Bastille Day, a very French holiday. It all makes sense however, when it is explained that their sister restaurant is Vincent A Restaurant, the neighboring hot spot featuring French and American cuisine. And though Vincent is darling, Brit's spacious digs (including their awesome patio) is definitely more ideal for a party. Events begin at 3 p.m. on the lawn when Actors Theater presents The Complete Works of William Shakespear (Abridged) a raucous performance featuring men in tights and iambic pentameter at a heart-stopping pace (the play lasts 97 minutes). Around 6 p.m. British rocker Graham Parker will play his yearly set, followed by an 8:30 p.m. screening of National Lampoon's European Vacation, a movie featuring topless women, a pig-themed game show, and a fashion montage set to the always-catchy "Ca Plane Pour Moi."
