Ballet Works Project
Once a year, in the spirit of experimentation, the dancers of James Sewell Ballet lend their bodies and souls to selected dance artists usually working outside (sometimes way outside) the parameters of contemporary ballet. "Eclectic" is the watchword this year. On the docket are new works by JSB dancer Cory Goei, post-modern dance enthusiast Chris Schlichting, and Karen L. Charles, founder of the lyrical/contemporary ballet group Threads Dance Project. It all happens in the spiffy TEK BOX, too. (Photo by Erik Saulitus)
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Feb. 8. Continues through Feb. 24, 2013
