A good hip-hop dancer can morph into a thousand shapes. In a witty play of body parts against one another, the human form becomes a sly mechanism of infinite variety. This weekend, veteran performer/choreographer B-Boy J-Sun returns for the third installment in his trilogy of hip-hop dance history and culture. J-Sun is known for taking the rubber-legged, liquid-jointed virtuosity of breakdancing into uncharted territory, and often focuses on a variety of social issues. He will be joined by colleagues Arturo Miles, Amirah Sackett, and Dancin Dave. He will also introduce some of the folks he's been mentoring in breaking, house, and funkstyles, including Ozzy, Jake "Boogie B" Riley, and "Mighty" Wealthy Phonseya. The monikers alone should be enough to get you to check out the Twin Cities' thriving hip-hop community. (Pictured: Boogie B)
