It might not be Halloween yet, but Banfill-Locke is getting spooky for its latest show. “Art of Darkness” will feature creepy ghosts, odd aliens, sad skeletons, and UFOs. The group exhibition will offer over 100 juried works of art by 67 artists, all celebrating the weird, unsettling, and unknown things in our world through photography, portraiture, paintings, and drawings. The collection has been curated by Darkness Dave and Tim Dennis of Darkness Radio, a program where the duo explores paranormal and other unexplained phenomena. There will be an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m.Saturday, July 30.
