Portland rapper and 2017 XXL Freshman Aminé broke out with the infectious "Caroline," followed by the color-bursting, easygoing rest of his debut album, Good for You, edging toward rap's fringes even while coexisting with superstar collaborators like Migos' Offset. His follow-up, August's misleadingly titled OnePointFive, is distinctly less cheery and more cynical to a fault, but Aminé does recapture his off-kilter former joyfulness with moments like "Reel It In," a single almost as irresistible as "Caroline." With Buddy and Kayo Genesis. All ages.
