Altered Esthetics' Ninth Anniversary
For its ninth birthday, Twin Cities gallery Altered Esthetics will be throwing a beer bash. This is especially appropriate given that one of its current exhibits, "Brewers' Craft," features artworks inspired by the process of making and consuming beer. This Saturday, revelers will be able to celebrate the space with local pours from Harriet Brewing, Excelsior Brewing, Surly, and Bard's Brewery (a gluten-free beer). There will also be tasty root beer and ginger ale from Glewwe Castle for those not interested in imbibing adult beverages. During the night, epic games of beer pong will be played, while breweriana fanatics (a.k.a. collectors of beer-related kitsch) will be showing off their collections and swapping steins. 21+.
Sat., April 20, 6-11 p.m., 2013
