A popular holiday tradition, Mu Performing Arts brings Charles Dickens’ classic tale to the stage with a stellar cast of Asian American performers. Artistic director Randy Reyes stars as Jasmine, a slightly clueless gal who’s looking for love in all the wrong places. She’s named after Jasmine 26, the Eat Street venue where Mu launched the show about eight years ago. Jasmine is the comical driving force of the story, helped along with a cast of characters who are up to their own funny antics, music, and seasonal sizzle. A ticket gets you admission plus an appetizer and dessert. It’s a great way to support Mu’s fantastic programming, and have some laughs in the process. For tickets, go to muperformingarts.org.
