A Stars & Stripes Benefit
There aren't too many opportunities out there for pet owners to bring their pups to an art show, but at this Fourth of July celebration dogs are more than welcome to come party along with their owners. Here, you'll find fine art on the walls from talented locals including Corey Hanssen, Doug Padilla, and Amy Rice. If something catches your eye, be sure to bid on it in the silent auction, where proceeds will benefit the Pet Project Rescue. Treats for humans will be available for purchase from the brand-new Anchor Fish & Chips food truck, and should your doggie start to overheat, have no fear: There will be a kiddie pool for him to splash around in if he's so inclined (if the weather is hot this Sunday you might wish you could jump in as well, lucky dog).
Sun., July 1, 4-7 p.m., 2012
