The Soap Factory's $99 sale is one of the biggest tickets of the year. The party and art sale features work from emerging and established artists alike, with all pieces sold for $99. There are three levels of tickets and start times. "First dibs" ($75) starts at 6:30 p.m., and includes complimentary cocktails all night long from guest bartenders Johnny Michaels of La Belle Vie and Bittercube's Nick Kosevich, plus small plates by Steven Brown of Tilia. "Primetime" ($30) starts at 8 p.m., and includes catering from Chowgirls and Common Roots, plus one free drink. Finally, "Closeout" tickets ($10) start at 11 p.m. DJs will be on hand all night, with KFAI's Kinda Cloudy starting out the evening during "First Dibs" along with Worldwide Discotheque's Steely Dan McAllister, who'll continue to play his all-vinyl soul tunes until 11 p.m. Afrobeat music closes out the evening, with Dérobé Dance Band and Black Market Brass. Becoming a member of the Soap Factory saves you $20 on your ticket purchase. Visit soapfactory.org for more details. Proceeds benefit the gallery.
