46th Street Block Party & Kings Birthday Bash
Folks familiar with the Kingfield neighborhood know that the intersection of 46th Street and Grand Avenue is pretty awesome. Here, you'll find the ColorWheel Gallery, Cafe Ena, Kings Wine Bar, and Patisserie 46. This Sunday, the four businesses will be celebrating their corner with a street bash sure to entertain. Kings Wine Bar will have fusion beers on tap, as well as root beer, burgers, and hot dogs. They'll also host some live music, including the Bunny Clogs, Megonia, Brianna Lane, and a Twin Town Guitars Showcase. Patisserie 46 will be scooping up cool treats from its ice cream truck. Cafe Ena will be offering some traditional Latin street food. The ColorWheel Gallery will be showcasing local art in its latest show, "Inspired by the Twin Cities," and Taylor Lindgren will be creating art live with aerosol paint and stencils. Kids can get in on the fun as well with bounce houses, art stations, and more. Folks feeling a little more adventurous may want to get a Tarot card reading, or sign up for some hair extensions. The event is more than a birthday bash; funds raised will go towards building a new playground in Dr. Martin Luther King Park. (Pictured: Taylor Lindgren paints live at last year's event)
