Top chefs and noodles make for an intriguing party on their own, but for good measure Ramen Attack throws in beer, music, and swords. What more do you need on a Sunday afternoon? Chefs include locals Gavin Kaysen (Spoon and Stable) and John Ng (Zen Box Izakaya), along with guest chefs from Tokyo, New York, and San Francisco. While they slurp hot bowls of traditional and contemporary noodle dishes, revelers can also check out Japanese sword displays, and take in drum and dance performances. Drinks include cocktails from Bittercube, and beers from Asahi and Surly (Umami is back). The event is for a good cause, as proceeds benefit the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. Food and beverages will be sold in ticket packages, available in advance online at ramenattack.eventbrite.com.
