123 Klan: Rien Commes des Autres
Graffiti and design work come together for this exciting show at the CO Exhibitions gallery in northeast Minneapolis. The 123 Klan, originally from France, was founded by husband-and-wife team Scien and Mrs. Klor. Along the way, the art collective relocated to Montreal and picked up a handful of talented members. While much of their work centers on branding and character design (their impressive client roster includes Adidas, Playstation, Coca Cola, Nike, and Lamborghini), they continue to work as graffiti artists as well. For "Rien Commes des Autres," guests will be able to check out some of their most recent design work as well as a new, large-scale mural created inside the gallery by the artists themselves. The opening reception is from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, November 19, and features musical sets from Kill the Vultures and Wants vs. Needs.
