So what are you doing freezing your butt off under neon lights? You belong in Lowertown, among crates of real tomatoes, fluffy lettuce, and silk-skinned cucumbers. Everything here is homegrown or homemade in Minnesota (an exception is made for a few border Wisconsinites); no corporate farmers, beekeepers, or basket weavers allowed. And which grocery store do you know that has live music almost every Sunday, and a petting zoo on select weekends? The market's open Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., May through October.
