Best Restaurant in Linden Hills Minneapolis 2014 - The Harriet Brasserie
Trees and specialty shops line the magical, almost too-quaint-to-take-seriously heart of Linden Hills. Within a two-block radius, you can find a politically engaged gourmet butcher shop (Clancey's, our winner for Best Delicatessen), the most comprehensive selection of coffee and tea in the state (Coffee and Tea Limited), and a handful of terrific restaurants. Though Tilia is often the critical and fan favorite, do yourself a favor and walk across the alley and down the block to the Harriet Brasserie. Located in a former fire station, the Harriet remains mysteriously underrated even though its tres leches cake is the best around, its crab cake Benedict is a brunch standout, and its burgers and duck tacos are equally delicious. In this neighborhood brasserie, Linden Hills has a versatile, comfortable spot for a late breakfast, a group lunch, or a cozy dinner.
