Cowboy Jack's has arguably the best rooftop and best location of any bar in downtown Minneapolis. Located right on the corner of Fifth Street and Second Avenue North, it's just a few steps outside of Target Field and provides an awesome sight line for all the shenanigans happening on the street. While the bar itself is safe and secure, on any given evening you can stand at the ledge, take in the panoramic view of the city, and watch two drunk dudes in Joe Mauer jerseys whale on each other on the sidewalk below. Why are they fighting? Who cares! Nothing is more entertaining than a good old-fashioned fistfight, especially when you can watch it from a safe distance. Guy versus guy, girl versus girl, girl versus guy, and every other combination of drunk rumble you can think of can (and has) happened right there on the sidewalk. And much like reality TV, whether you love it or hate it, if a fight breaks out in front of you, you know you're going to watch.
