Best Outdoor Dining Minneapolis 2013 - Butcher & the Boar
1121 Hennepin Ave.
Minneapolis, MN 55403
In the sweltering midsummer sun, a perfectly mixed mint julep served in a frigid tin cup transforms the day from sweaty to spectacular. In the crisp autumn evening, a frosty, caramel-colored beer sipped by the fire extends the light-sweater season. Really, we have only one (albeit long) season in which a day can't be made better by spending time at Butcher & the Boar's patio. The food options include a few awesome bites, including that glorious footlong hot dog. Seating is plentiful, which makes it ideal whether you're looking to spread out with colleagues after work or find an intimate corner for two. Tucked behind the building in the heart of the city, the patio still manages to feel like an oasis. An oasis that serves beer and bourbon — what more could we ask for?
