Its racks are teeming with dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, and other clothing, sorted by type, then decade (1920s to 1980s). The shop's friendly owners, Jennifer Sapiro and Vanessa Messersmith (yeah, the Best Songwriter's wife), are more than happy to help you pick out a few things. If you find a must-have item that needs to be fixed or altered, there's an in-store seamstress (they share their space with Sew Simple), and Blacklist customers get an automatic 10 percent off. What sets Blacklist apart from the rest is its dedication to treasures from decades past and its well-preserved inventory. And while some of its wares can be a smidgen overpriced, it remains the city's best one-stop vintage shop.
