Twilight, the Twin Cities' Monthly Queer Women's Dance Party, recently celebrated its ninth anniversary, standing firm as the most reliable and fun party in a town where venues catering to queer women are few and far between. In those years, Twilight has been held at various venues—the Varsity, Bobino, the Loring Pasta Bar, Club Ashé, and Trocadero's—and has recently found a home at the Kitty Cat Klub in Dinkytown. The Kitty Cat Klub's funky decor, dim lighting, and comfy couches provide a perfect gathering place for Minnesota's queer women, who come out to make friends, meet singles, and dance the night away to DJs such as Shiek and Ajent Orange. The fun and sophisticated event is a much-needed space for lesbians, queer girlz, bois, butches, femmes, bi-girls, and all the queer-friendly people in the Twin Cities to meet and have a good time.
