In a town filled with gifted feet, probably none are funkier (in a good way) than those belonging to the members of Rhythmic Circus. Their performance of Feet Don't Fail Me Now! at the Women's Club last summer practically exploded with tap dancing pyrotechnics courtesy of Nick Bowman, Ricci Milan, Kaleena Miller, and Galen Higgins. Backed by a live band, this high-spirited quartet proved they can find the rhythm in just about any situation, including sitting on a folding chair or hoofing it up in a sandbox. But while the movement jokes flew fast and furious, the dancers also showed off their serious technical skills. It was a raucous and fun-filled evening from a troupe that can boogie with the best of 'em.
It's great to see everyone in Rythmic Circus get the recognition they deserve, and this CP award is not only another feather in their caps, it proves what their friends have known since the first show - talent and heart and friendship are unstoppable. Congratulations to the 'Feet Posse'!
