In winter, step out of the monochromatic world and into this vibrant paradise. Feel the humid air on your pasty skin as you stroll through a tropical rainforest under the shadow of palm, bamboo, and fig trees, with colorful bromeliads and orchids lining your way. This place is a delight for all the senses: Enjoy the music of the toads croaking and birds chirping as you inhale the fresh floral and mossy scents. In the summer you can also enjoy the Japanese Garden, Enchanted Garden—often filled with butterflies—and lovely water plants. If you still have some of your afternoon left you can easily wander over to the neighboring Como zoo, park, and lake.
