It's surprising that in an area with such a thriving GLBT presence there really aren't a whole lot of good lesbian hangouts. With the closing of Pi a couple of years ago, options have become pretty slim. Fortunately there are still some decent gay bars that are "lesbian friendly," like the Town House in St. Paul. So what makes Town House stand out? It's nothing out of the ordinary: cheap drinks, free appetizers on Fridays, and a laid-back environment where you can dance, shoot pool, throw darts, or just relax with friends. Without a ton of options in the Cities, Town House is your best bet if you're looking for a night out with the ladies.
