Too often, artistic souls lose confidence in their abilities because they lack the technical skills to develop their vision. The Art Academy's philosophy is to rectify that by teaching artists, both young and old, traditional drawing and painting techniques. For adults, the school offers courses in traditional drawing and painting, renaissance painting styles, watercolor, and drawing figures without the aid of a live model. Children can take drawing and painting courses, as well as classes on how to draw superheroes, fantasy characters, and manga. The 10-week courses are reasonably priced at $180 ($150 for ages 5 to 8).
