The beer menu includes brief, informative yet unpretentious descriptions of the brews, including place of origin, mouthfeel, and alcohol content. The place usually carries around 48 beers on tap and 50 bottles to boot. We say "usually around" because the Pig switches up its selection on a weekly basis. What really sold us is the cask ale featured each week, whereby a beer is served up sans nitrogen and carbon dioxide (cask-conditioned), which is said to make for a brighter taste with more character than from a keg.
