Best Wild Player Minneapolis 2009 - Cal Clutterbuck

Readers' Choice: Marion Gaborik

Sure, plenty of Wild players deserve the title. But few of them can pummel the crap out of the opposition quite like Cal Clutterbuck. There are many ways to hurt folks on the ice: Players can slash, high-stick, or just drop the gloves and use a simple fist to the head. But the sheer force of a body check is one of the most feared and painful experiences one can have on the ice. And Clutterbuck inflicts pain on the opposition like no other man alive. He does this with raw manpower and unfiltered violence. And with this great power comes great opportunity. Clutterbuck has a way of luring opponents into penalties. He's like bait that goes after the fish with a gaff.
