Today we had lunch there and it was such a horrible experience. I have never been treated so badly by the owners (they are the only ones to ring the registers)of Quang. We stood by the counter waiting for just a simple acknowledgment that we needed assistant, but they practically just ignored us. When we were helped and we asked for more sauce for our takeout order, they wanted to charge .50cents for each container of sauce we requested---I would not mind paying extra, but the comment they noted was extremely unprofessional and very degrading. I have never been treated in such a way, especially as a paying customer! I don't care how good your food are, but courtesy for another human being is something I feel is more important. I use to be great fans of Quang food, but after my experience, I am boycotting Quang for the rest of my life! (PS. I refused to eat the food I ordered---I would rather let it rot just for my satisfaction.)

Quang Restaurant

Walk into Quang, even at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and the place will be bumping. The family-run Eat Street restaurant is a consistent hive of activity, and deservedly so. Quang is an institution, started by the Quang family in a smaller location across the street and eventually moved to their current, sizeable site. These folks know how to run a business: Despite the throngs, lines diminish quickly, and the needs of both dine-in and carry-out customers are met smoothly and efficiently. And all of it is built on the foundation of good food. Get some crispy, fresh pork and vegetable egg rolls to start while you're deciding on entrées from a wide range of reasonably priced pho, noodle, and rice dishes. While the weekend sea bass soup special is controversial (like black licorice is controversial), it keeps many devotees coming back again and again. On your way out, grab a few bánh mì, wrapped and ready to go from the deli case, or some of the $2 desserts (most of them still warm) flanking the cash registers. Don't feel up to braving the masses? No worries. There's a discreet nook up front where you can sit and wait for takeout.
