Comments (0) Best Swarm Player - 2009

Aaron Wilson

The Swarm's season has been, let's just say, less than great. The sheer dominance of the Calgary Roughnecks has left the Swarm mired in the middle of the pack, trying to get over .500. But that's not to say there are no bright spots for the lacrossers. Forward Aaron Wilson is of particular note. The Kitchener, Ontario, native (lacrosse is a really big deal there) and five-year veteran of the NLL has spent much of the season among the league's top 10 scorers and has led the team in points and goals since arriving in St. Paul via a trade with the Rochester Nighthawks. With a 2005 championship with the Toronto Rock on his résumé, he could be the veteran leader the Swarm need to bring their first NLL title home.
