Best Place to Watch a UFC Fight - 2009
Hooters of Block E - CLOSED
What's better than watching a bunch of guys punch and kick each other in the face for three hours on a Saturday night? Watching a bunch of guys punch and kick each other in the face for three hours with your friends at the bar. Each month, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosts a night full of knockouts, choke-outs, and testosterone-filled action that attracts guys (and a few tough chicks) to sports bars all over the Twin Cities. But with so many options, how do you choose? Easy—look for the bar that gives you everything you want and nothing you don't. Hooters of Block E may seem like a strange choice, but with tons of TVs, plenty of good seating, and a crowd of fellow UFC fans looking for a fight (to watch, of course), America's tackiest chain restaurant is the best place for ultimate-fighting pleasure. Sure, you could choose a strip club or dance club with TVs at the bar, but they're loud, expensive, and more focused on getting you to stay for a party than on showing the fights. The best thing about Hooters is that the staff seems just as fired up for the big event as the customers are, making it a fun, focused atmosphere for all your face-smashing needs.
