Solera ranks pretty high on the list of bars with great views. Amid the skyscrapers and street-level Block E clatter, it's a posh-yet-casual experience. But the best viewing happens when Solera hosts its summer film series on its rooftop deck Sunday and Monday nights. Movies that have screened over the past few years include hits like Old School, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Austin Powers. Shown at dusk, the films are complemented by a drink menu that usually features a special cocktail or beer deal connected with the movie; a fun martini might be specially created for a screening of the latest James Bond, for example. If the drink special isn't your thing, order up a few small plates (a.k.a. tapas) and a pitcher of sangria, and you've got the perfect nighttime summer activity.
