BEST PLACE TO MEET SINGLE MEN (STRAIGHT)

Spyhouse
2451 Nicollet Avenue South
Minneapolis
612.871.3177
When they're not out scouring the bars for attractive women, many single guys spend their weeknights at a local independent coffee shop. One of the more popular hideouts is Spyhouse, an Eat Street cafe that regularly serves up oodles of available men. They can be found curled up in red leather booths with laptops whirring, steaming dark roast in hand, looking up each time the doorbell chimes for signs of hotness in the newest arrival. The hip, artsy atmosphere may be what draws these unattached city dwellers to Spyhouse. Local art hangs on the walls, begging to be used as a conversation starter; during the summer months, outdoor seating provides opportunities to meet guys on the street, expanding your selection to all of Nicollet Avenue. The important thing to remember is that, when they're not in the bar or club, many of the guys blowing steam at Spyhouse tend to be a bit shy. They'd sooner post a missed connection on Craigslist than approach a girl, so flirty smiles and eye contact are key. After that, your next latte might be free.
