All along the Grand Rounds of the Minnehaha Creek trail there are lakes, wildflowers, sweet little wooden bridges, a crashing waterfall, a river, and, yes, even a creek! Where else in the state can you find all of this within a 12-mile strip? But don't let the mileage scare you; you can make a month of weekend picnics and never visit the same spot twice.
