Palmer's serves its West Bank neighborhood well. As the Cedar Avenue respite between the Triple Rock, with its often homogenous clientele, and the 400 Bar, which is always overpriced, Palmer's serves stiff drinks to rowdy, sometimes rough, but always fun-loving patrons. Whether you're a crusty punk, a soul sister, an aging hippie, or simply a very serious drinker, you'll appreciate the place--that is, if you can find a seat (not easy on a crowded weekend) or a dance partner (very easy on a crowded weekend).
