Every Saturday and Sunday this no-frills Lake Street institution chops its prices from noon to 6:00 p.m. During these six hours, domestic bottles are a mere $1.90, and most mixed drinks go for $2.50. If you're ever in need of an old-fashioned, knock-out-the-headlights weekend booze bender, the Poodle Club is your palace. Weeknights are almost as much of an endurance test, with drink specials running from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Just watch out you don't get too darn happy.
