Forget about this downtown stalwart at your peril. Because while other French restaurants come and go, café un deux trois sticks to the basics of classic French bistro cooking and classic New York front-of-the-house efficiency. The current menu offers all the beloved regulars: boudin blanc, escargots, steak tartare, moules, steak au poivre, even sautéed calf's liver with onions. The rest of the world might always have Paris, but we hope we'll always have un deux trois.
