After his debut as the very poor man's Dennis Miller for the XFL, Governor Ventura got some tough reviews. Our favorite zinger came from out of state (a fresh perspective always helps). Richard Sandomir, a sportswriter for the New York Times, offered this withering assessment to the local Associated Press: "I don't know if he was told to be a roaring river of inanities, but that's what he was. Wind him up, and he says nothing, but he says it loudly."
