BEST CORRECTION

Corrections are inevitable: misidentified high school athletes, statistics off by one decimal point, misspelled names. We're all human. But there are certain gaffes that can forever destroy a newspaper's credibility. So for posterity's sake, we offer this blunder from the March 31, 2001 Star Tribune. "An item on Page N24 Friday incorrectly said Liquor Lyle's, 3018 Hennepin Av. S., Minneapolis, has no TV. The business says it has 11 TVs." What was that reporter drinking?
