The winner by a long putt, Adventure Gardens offers 18 holes of mini-golf on a highly challenging course that's replete with split greens, tricky angles, and water and sand hazards--and for a reasonable cost, too. Adults pay $5 ($2.75 before 6:00 p.m.) for the privilege of teeing off here (children and seniors pay $3.50), with the added bonus of enjoying close proximity to the water slides and picnic grounds at Veterans Memorial Park. Adventure Gardens is open Wednesday through Sunday beginning May 1, and after dark the course lights up for night putting.
