When the science-fiction movie 2010: The Year We MakeContact came out in 1984, no one in the audience could have predicted what life would really be like when the year 2010 finally arrived.

As it turns out, we never got around to sending astronauts to Jupiter. Instead, we stayed home and made contact with one another. We phone, email, text, and Skype. Minneapolis has gone wireless, and St. Paul isn't far behind.
