Best Tweeter

It’s almost like @RandBallsStu is a laboratory-created creature, one that was fine-tuned to be the idealized Twin Cities Twitter persona. There’s a reason his bio reads “regional delicacy”—he’s a sports guy (Twins blogger), a beer guy (Surly staffer), a music guy (Replacements lover), and an unfailingly local guy (Minnesota culture riffer). That’s not to say his 91,000-plus tweets are hack, boilerplate, or pandering; consistently hilarious, the real-life Steve Neuman is a very welcome addition to your feed, hence the award we just gave him. The ephemera of Twitter leaving you craving more @RandBallsStu? Download his Sportive podcast, winner of City Pages’ 2014 Best Sports Podcast prize.
