It’s time to get back to the primary purpose of brunch: reviving the lifeless flesh of partied-out weekend warriors. To this challenge, we send our fiercest weapons: bottomless mimosas and beautiful drag queens. At Lush, a $20 ticket will get you a seat at the drag show on Saturday or Sunday, access to the brunch buffet (with vegan and vegetarian options!), and, for the low price of $12 per person, a truly bottomless pitcher of mimosas. Occasionally, a queen might stop by your table during her set and drain your juice-and-bubbly-filled flute like a mom of four after the kids are in bed. But do you care? Not when a server swoops in instantly to refresh your supply. And while we’re on the subject of moms: Invite yours and all the ones you know, because the last Sunday of every month is an all-ages drag brunch with a kid-friendly theme. It’s never too early to teach the kiddies how to “read.”
