Obadiah Gamble

The 6-year-old turned the sports world on with a smile. His public debut was a 100-second rap video, the goal of his rhymes as pure as a morning snowfall. The youngster wanted to invite his favorite football player, Vikings’ quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, to his birthday party. “Hey Tedd-ay, Hey Tedd-ay/Won’t you wanna come to my birthday?” Gamble asked in the chorus of his ditty. Of course Bridgewater did. Though the QB missed the main party, he did drop by Gamble’s St. Paul home for cake and some football tossin’. Gamble’s story was shared with hundreds of thousands of people online.
