Best Fashion Designer

Russell Bourrienne

It’s hard to do menswear right, but Russell Bourrienne hits it out of the park every time. He’s a mainstay of local fashion shows, including Envision. His beautifully tailored pieces manage to blend elements of the past with the trends of today. A garment from Bourrienne — be it a cape, suit, coat, knickers, or shirt — could be right at home in 1965, but it still looks fresh in 2017. The designer plays with pattern and color in an inspiring way that feels fashion-forward, but wouldn’t be too crazy for your Monday morning meeting, either. Custom pieces are available from Bourrienne by appointment at his Uptown studio.
