Joke Joint Comedy Club

When it comes to the Twin Cities comedy scene, St. Paul can sometimes end up looking like the little brother. But for the past decade, Joke Joint Comedy Club has proven that the funniest show in town is often happening on the other side of the river. With a steady stream of nationally touring headliners, a great mix of local emcees and feature acts, and a consistently strong open mic night that gives new and established comedians the opportunity to perform in a quality club, Joke Joint has shown it doesn’t take a backseat to any room in Minneapolis. In fact, one of the things that makes Joke Joint so much fun is the actual building itself. Its vintage architecture and balcony seating add quite a bit of ambiance to the show, and the layout ensures there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The talent that performs at Joke Joint is often a different group than what you’ll see at other clubs, giving you the chance to tap into a whole new talent pool you may not have known existed.
