She's the leading scorer in Big 10 women's basketball history. Her 60 points against Northwestern in February tied her for the highest-scoring game in NCAA history. She holds nine Gopher records for everything from three-point shooting to free throws to field goals. And she's been nominated for virtually every national award in the country, including being named a first-team All-American this season. She is Rachel Banham, the 5-foot-9 scoring machine who's surely one of the greatest athletes in University of Minnesota history. This year, her senior season, Banham averaged 28.6 points a game, placing her in the Steph Curry/Kevin Durant stratosphere of dangerous threats. Though her time at the U has come to an end, here's hoping the Lakeville North grad can stay in Minnesota and keep her guns loaded for the Lynx.
