A swinging pub sign and the slightly older crowd that lounges on the steps outside this corner shop in between Friday night Magic games makes it look like some hidden watering hole. But Mead Hall doesn't actually carry mead so much as indie board games, cards, comics, and vinyls. When it comes to atmosphere, Mead Hall roleplays as a dungeon, albeit a rather romantic one replete with beautiful long wooden tables, ye olde lantern lights, literal barrels full of games, and one suit of armor. There's even a social-media community for the Magic regulars, called the Meadery. Providing a home for competitive yet friendly card bros as well as old-fashioned comic lovers, the owners are readily willing to order anything that isn't already in stock, and facilitate pizza runs in the evenings.
