Last September, twin brothers and clothing designers Tim and Thom Navarro of TIM+THOM organized a fashion show to close out the triumphant first go of Fashion Week MN. The chic audience arrived at the Minneapolis Club for an intimate evening highlighting new fashions from four local designers. The brothers presented their latest collection, which featured black-and-white designs ranging from striking slacks to cinched summer dresses. Samantha Rei shared her new feminine pieces inspired by the Depression-era South. Metallic garments by Shaider Vue were also on display. While many fashion shows do a great job hosting larger lineups, details can get lost or overwhelmed when you try to fit over a dozen clothing lines into a single show. With a thoughtful lineup limited to three designers, LARK was a runway party of a different breed. It kept things curated and simple, and attendees were able to bask in the finer elements and elegant touches of each piece.
