Common Good Books
They keep saying that brick-and-mortar bookstores are dying, but the fine folks at Common Good Books seem to be staving that off, one customer at a time. Garrison Keillor's day job, Common Good offers a bevy of books — local and beyond, fiction and non, usual and off-the-beaten-path — for all lovers of the printed word to enjoy (and yes, there's a website too). The store has also built its own community, with regular talks, salons, and discussion groups (such as a monthly one dedicated to F. Scott Fitzgerald) for bibliophiles of any ilk.
