When Minneapolis Comic Con arrived last spring, folks dressed up in their geeky best. But for Dr. Who fans, one costume stood out from the rest. Designed to look like a British police telephone box on the outside (so it can travel incognito), the TARDIS is a living machine that allows the good Doctor to travel through time and space. When Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor in the series, visited the convention, the TARDIS was in attendance, sitting in the back, waiting for the next adventure. That bulky costume was probably not easy to manage, but its presence certainly added to the festivities. Way to commit, Dr. Who fan. We salute you.
