Zombie Pub Crawl is just about the closest thing you'll ever find to a real zombie apocalypse. It began in 2005 with a few friends looking for an excuse to get drunk and dress up as the undead, but it has since grown into something so horrifyingly, wonderfully massive that it shuts down the West Bank for one night every year. It's now such a staple in Minneapolis, other cities across the country have tried to replicate it, and Mayor R.T. Rybak even gave the boozy event his blessing with an honorary Zombie Pub Crawl Day. In 2012, ZPC broke the world record for "Largest Gathering of Zombies" when more than 8,000 congregated at Midway Stadium in St. Paul for the event. And that was actually just a fraction of the 30,000 or so who participated in the crawl. Like a real zombie attack, it's only a matter of time before this thing gets so big that it actually destroys the city of Minneapolis. We're very much looking forward to that day.
