Among all the modern-day ways to shape our bodies, there is no shortage of technique, instruction, or method. But really, at the foundation of any perspiring temple is the preacher. Personality, patience, and persistence are what make a trainer successful, and no instructor exemplifies those attributes like Damien Rochon-Washington. A two-year gridiron starter and record-setting runner at Augsburg College, and also a 10-year vet of semi-pro football, Rochon-Washington is more than just another motivator. He has the ability to empower a wide spectrum of clients, and he understands that fitness isn't confined within the walls of a gym. Certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine, Rochon-Washington likes variety in his workouts and surprises in his instruction. He may train with a pro MMA fighter through API's intense "Caveman Training" one day, work with basketball star Khalid El-Amin the next, and then lead a 70-year-old grandmother in a more modest regimen to close out the week. Yet the objective is always the same: to help everyone reach their goals through exercise that is both fun and demanding.
