Custom cars

Sure, the increase in exposed flesh is nice and all, but Minnesotans spend enough time indoors that such sights are kind of easy to come by even in the cold weather. It's when dusty white grime makes way for Turtle Wax gleam that spring really begins. Muscle cars skulk up University, hot rods congregate on Kellogg, candy-painted Cutlasses and tricked-out imports roll from Frogtown to Lyn-Lake. It doesn't matter if you've got a drop-top Porsche or a thousand-dollar Honda with a coffee-can exhaust: The realization that you won't have to deal with snow, ice, or jumper cables makes for a happy ride.
